It's been more than a few years since I've done it (custom length pushrods came down considerably in price since then, and slant 6s aren't exactly flooding the boneyards around here anymore...), but I remember them being larger diameter than the 273 pushrods, probably were larger diameter because of their increased length? Never had problems with them with the heavier single springs w/damper or double springs I ran back then.
