That’s good. I think I can hear the dart snoring hope the pipes on my sled don’t wake him up39*F now, looking for 45* today, and 54* tomorrow. Windy though, up to 50 mph again, but no snow in sight, maybe rain on Tuesday and 45*. That is around 8-10 degrees above average and I am not going to complain. I even had the Ventura out for a short drive yesterday.
With Manitoba public insurance, I did the math including storage insurance. For a savings of around 50 bucks I just leave it registered and keep the plates on it year round. MPI have auto appraisal guys there numbers aren’t as high as the market prices but fair so there won’t be any fighting with them over value.Would have taken the Dart for some exercise too, but I have pulled the insurance off it.
I have Hagerty Ins. on my Scamp and 29 truck cost is right at 500 a year to insure them. 29 is appraised at $6,000 and scamp is $35,000 so a bit low on the scamp for what I have into it so hope nothing happens to it. lolWith Manitoba public insurance, I did the math including storage insurance. Well at least you have a number. So they won’t be trying to screw you over if something happens. Insurance companies are very good at bending you over and sticking it to yaI have Hagerty Ins. on my Scamp and 29 truck cost is right at 500 a year to insure them. 29 is appraised at $6,000 and scamp is $35,000 so a bit low on the scamp for what I have into it so hope nothing happens to it. lol

Impossibly here as the plate, registration, and insurance are all handled by the government you can’t get one with out the otherIn Ca. if you remove the insurance from a vehicle the insurance company is required to contact the state DMV and your registration is immediately cancelled. To save that $50 bucks would mean a few calls to the insurance peeps and 2 visits with fees to the DMV . Yet there are those that drive about with neither on a regular basis, most of which have no driver's license.
They sure are and lucky me have to deal with there crap all the time.Well at least you have a number. So they won’t be trying to screw you over if something happens. Insurance companies are very good at bending you over and sticking it to ya

Your State sucks but love the weather and the Palm trees. In Ca. if you remove the insurance from a vehicle the insurance company is required to contact the state DMV and your registration is immediately cancelled. Although people still drive with out a drivers which carries liability insurance on it. So if driving without drivers license and you get in any accident your liable weather you are or not at fault because you weren’t supposed to be there anyway. Same as being drunk, you weren’t supposed to be there anyway.Impossibly here as the plate, registration, and insurance are all handled by the government you can’t get one with out the other

Here I have to get the insurance first, then take the proof of insurance to the registry office and then I get the registration and plate. I can cancel the insurance and still have it registered until the renewal date, which I normally do since the refund is not worth the effort. I can also get insurance by emailing the insurance broker, and I don't have to pay for it until the insurance company actually sends me the bill.Impossibly here as the plate, registration, and insurance are all handled by the government you can’t get one with out the other
Boo Who?
Maybe when it's back out on the road raise the value up on it. I'm thinking of doing the same. It's insured for 40,500 and I think it should be around 45,000. Better than losing money if something happens to it.I have Hagerty Ins. on my Scamp and 29 truck cost is right at 500 a year to insure them. 29 is appraised at $6,000 and scamp is $35,000 so a bit low on the scamp for what I have into it so hope nothing happens to it. lol
That happens a lot here. It's a 5000 dollar fine for driving without ins and probably the same for no license. Should be jail time as wellIn Ca. if you remove the insurance from a vehicle the insurance company is required to contact the state DMV and your registration is immediately cancelled. The Ins companies always say we paid out this much last year but they never divulge how much they take in and their profits. They also don't hesitate to raise the rates. They sure are and lucky me have to deal with there crap all the time.
They were talking about that on TV today. All four pumps going can move 550,000 gallons a minute or a second, can't remember. I know at the nuclear plant where my son works they have a pump that runs off a jet engine. It can move a ton of water in no time flat.Morning men the weather here has been not terrible, but another storm front is rolling in. On the mainland the Frazer river got low enough to start pumping out the summas flood planes , didn’t know but they have the second largest pump station in the world according to the news .
