Well, that sucks, I hate wasting time and gas on crap that is misrepresented, like your time is worthless. The older I get the more I appreciate the weekends and getting a break from the drudgery of the workday.

Light snow been falling for several hours now and the temperature is a balmy 10*F. Just a bit of shock to the system after the 63* earlier this week! Only 3 weeks 'til the fat bastard comes, so not going ***** too loud. LOL

Christmas lights? Hmmmmm we had some that were on the house when we bought it, but we had the soffits and fascia replaced last year and the lights went into the round file. Haven't given much thought to replacing them so far, and my wife hasn't either, so I'm good with being a grinch.

Took scrap rebar bent cut and welded Christmas shapes out of it. 5-6’ big, covered them with Christmas light and hung them in the bush facing road. Leafs hide them in summer, when they need service I just bring’em in shop. Best part no climbing ladders.

My wife has mentioned before that she would like to have a life size Santa made of plywood, it would have to be anchored to prevent the wind from carrying it into Saskatchewan. Lol
Maybe one day.

Blew out the driveway but still snowing and the roads are not cleaned out in town yet but I'm one step closer to getting out in the morning.

Wouldn’t mind but Ontario’s trail pass is a lot of cash and no 7 day permits. At least that’s the way it was a few years ago. I live an hour and a half by sled from Kenora, 3 hr. From sister in law place would go no problem but not paying that kind of cash.
Where's your sister live?

6 or 7 inches of that 4 letter word so far so looks like I'll be blowing it out of the driveway soon enough. :BangHead:
Oh sorry to hear that my friend. Almost 4pm and snowing but not bad yet. They said we might get some freezing rain later so see what happens. I'd prefer snow if we have to have any of that crap. BTW guys.. if this is your first go at shoveling this year take it easy. Your ticker isn't used to it. We need you all here

Some of my kids are coming over for dinner tonight and not sure yet if the snow is gonna stop them, but made chicken enchiladas and a pan of beef enchiladas also tamale pie. Taco salad will be next with rice and beans. Desert is peach cobbler with ice cream.
If they don't show up looks like I'll have enough left overs to last me all winter. LOL
