About 4, 5 years ago we were in a hole in the wall diner in a speck on the map town with our kids (we only had 2 at the time)

My oldest musta been 5 or 6 and he was being mean to his sister
I told him to fly right and when he didn't I picked him up out of his chair and took him to the bathroom

Unbeknownst to me, the walls were made out of tarpaper and everyone could hear what was going on in there
Of course, it didn't help that he is very dramatic and acted like I spanked his cheeks off

When I walked out of that bathroom the entire diner was giving me the stinkeye and by the time I made it back to our table my wife had already paid the bill and was ready to go

Didn't faze me one bit
I got a responsibility to raise them kids and popular opinion isn't gonna change that one bit

Been a long time since A&W for me also. They've changed the menu and they sure aren't the same as the old days. I was always at the A&W in the late 60-80's. Now big business has taken over and the food has gone downhill and the prices through the roof. Right up there with McDogfood, Burger King and Wendy's. I've changed over to pitas and a lot healthier if you have to eat fast food.

Yeah our kids got disciplined as well. Most time all I had to do was to stare at them and they straightened up. Both our kids have a fantastic relationship with my wife and I. Our one grandson can be the child from hell when he doesn't get his way because he didn't get disciplined. But he sure knows not to act up in front of me as I don't take any **** from him. Law or no law he gets his *** tanned and he knows it. He's almost 14 now and is getting better though but still has his moments.
 
Morning Fellas and Happy Saturday to everyone. My son and his family came last night and slept over. He's heading to see his old friends from high school and a small reunion. Then he'll stop and visit with his sister as she lives in that town and haven't seen each other for 2 years.
Unfortunately we all won't be all together for Xmas but we'll be with our daughter at her house. We'll drive down xmas morning just for the day. Just an hour and fifteen minute drive so not bad as long as the weather is good. We'll still go anyway.
Looks like we're heading for another lockdown with the Omicron. The numbers are going up in leaps and bowens

Looks like instead of getting a belly full of Beer everyone is getting an arm full of vaccines. lol
 
Good morning men ,woke up today and it’s a winter wonderland got 6in of the white stuff why couldn’t it do this on a work day. Now I gotta go out and shovel this stuff ,first I gotta find that dam shovel! Then I gotta remember how to put the jeep in 4x4 ,lol you all have a great day stay safe.
