Well that was the first full week of work , it was awsome by the way , happy Friday bitches
Sounds like you made the right move Biff. Congrats my friend. Working at a job you like makes the world go around so much easier. Better working conditions and less stress. Win Win right there.

Morning everyone. The countdown is on for our party. I think we have every thing done, if not too bad.
We may get a little shower but that is ok we have two canopies and the gazebo or the basement if it gets that bad. Might be a little crowded but we're all family or friends. Fred said he would do his best for us lol
Have a great day.

Holy crap I just got back from the Co-op and my herbicide has tripled in price. The fertilizer was triple at plant time. The seed was up at plant by 20 percent and I need to by more yet for replant in one spot. Fuel was triple at plant. Makes me rethink about this farming hobby.

i have noticed everything i buy is more expensive then it was, say two years ago
it is almost like out dollar is worthless
i wish i know why, but i guess it is one of those mysteries we may never know the true reason for

When our resident prints free money it lowers the value of it. Some say but it is across the globe well the economy is based off the US dollar so as it is devalued it takes more of then to get the same item.

It's worldwide mainly because of the cost of oil. That increases the cost of transportation to get things to and from factories and to the stores etc. It just snowballs. It's not over until the war with the Ukraine and Russia ends and that will take a bullet between Putan's eye. Hoping that the prices will come down but the oil companies will still gouge us as long as we'll let them.

Morning guys. We had a spectacular party yesterday for our 50th.
We had two canopies and glad we did because at one point the skies opened up with thunder and lightning.
Good friends, good food and a good time had by all.
Our kids helped clean up before their long drive home.
I was so tired I went to bed at 9 and never woke all night not even for a nature break.
My wife is still sleeping. We aren't doing a dam thing today except eat our meals today. We still have a lot of food leftover so we won't starve.
There were about 45 people show up.

Good morning I’m glad everyone had a good time !

As for the price of everything it is crazy for sure , our gas is still 2.28.9$ so 10.30 per gallon so your 4 bucks a gallon is cheep …

Saw diesel as high as $6.89 a gallon in New York and Pa. a couple weeks ago, and as low as $4.70 in Mo. Leaving tomorrow for another trip to New York.
Paid up to $2.07 a liter last week in Saskatchewan and Manitoba for 87 octane gasoline.

#1 gas is $2.45.9 / litre in southeastern Manitoba. The Dart has a drinking problem so I guess special occasions this summer no driving it to work. :BangHead:

I've done some reading on the gas situation. Problem number one was that gas production was cut by 900,000 barrels a day when the pandemic hit. They've been slow to get back in pre COVID production. Number two, fewer new refineries are being built because of electric car push. Russian war with Ukraine is driving up prices because Russia is a major producer of oil. Lesser oil in the market. Demand is high right now because of the season. Biden's axing of the pipeline did not help the situation.

You got a deal at that price.

Morning all. Hope everyone had a great weekend. We sure did but glad we don't do this every weekend.
Getting quite hot this week and some days feeling in the low 40's.
I just might make it to the Monday night car show.
Have a great day.
