Supposed to be really hot Wednesday though.
I go for two cortisone shots in my shoulders today at 9:30. Finally get some relief YAY!!!!

Yesterday it was 36c humid to craziness and no wind. Unreal was sweating just standing there. Or maybe my body was cooler than the air and the moisture was condensing on my skin. Either way it was almost to much work to drink a beer LOL

I went for my cortisone shots last Wensday, she hit the right spot, glad I had that done before my 2 days on petit Jean Mt car show swap meet days..hot, no beer for me in that weather

That stuff is marvelous. The first time I had it he hit me with two in each shoulder. A day later I was in heaven. What a difference!! I guess eventually I'll have to get surgery on both because I don't know what the learn term is like.

I had my right repair work done 12 years ago, glad I did, but my left has been in bad shape for 6 years.
I agree, great stuff in those long needles

I don't know about you but I hardly feel anything when it's done. Could be no sense no feeling also lol
 
Being a bricklayer I have a sore back always. One thing I have found is that you take pain medication, you no longer feel the ache that is the time to be extra careful because that reminder is gone and you could hurt it bad and not know it. Then you pay.
 
I have to give my cat some medicine, I am thinking about calling the bomb squad, they will be dressed correctly

Use a stove pipe. That’s the way the father in law used to de sex the Toms on the farm worked like a hot dam. We called it the stove pipe job. When you let that cat out of that pipe he was running 9 sec 1/4

Just one more reason why I don't like taking painkillers period.
 
They want to shoot my back with cortisone. It’s part of the diagnosis. Went through that with my shoulder. Thought I was gonna pass out. NO THANKS

I had two cortisone shots in both shoulders and hardly felt a thing. When the needle does go deep you feel an ache but that was all. This guy is marvelous at what he does.
He said I may be looking at surgery down the road OH YAY.
I can honestly say though there is a big difference in both shoulders today, not perfect yet but manageable
 
Pain killers are ok, you just have to remember that you are not cured or healed. Only take enough to deaden the pain, not wipe it out. That way you’ll remember not to do the stupid thing that put you in that position in the first place. My experience for what it’s worth
 
Morning men. Boy it's going to be hot the next couple of days feeling around 40 with the humidex.
It did rain overnight so that'll make it even worse. Cut the air with a knife.
My grandson and his classmates are going to Canada's Wonderland in Toronto today 2 hrs there one way in a school bus. Good job I'm not going lol. They'll have fun though for the closing of another school year. He goes into high school in the fall. I better warn them ahead of time lol
