Will do need to dig it out for local car show at the end of aug.
Doing the interior is not cheap either a lot of work stuffing and sewing. Dad had an upostery friend did a great job for cost him and dad worked on it off and on for a long time.

Found out an interesting fact about my Dart it shares the same body style as the Model A they are both coupes. Who would have thunk it.

Your welcome Mike I do it every year and haven't found any loose parts yet but I do have a few rattles that I been trying to hunt down for a long time. Although if I take my hearing aids out I can't hear them and all is good. lol
If someone complains crank the stereo up and mash the pedal to the floor. Noise all gone lol
I have a rattle somewhere in the back of the Cuda and can't find it nowhere. Very frustrating to say the least. The remote rods in the door rattle a bit too but can't restrict them or the door won't work properly. Some you have to live with. I've tried putting rubber hose on them but then it restricts the movement. Turn the hearing aids off... there perfect. LOL

Fred do you remember Eldon road race cars. The motor was 12 v it fits perfectly into armature hole in original electric wiper motor and has enough power to run wiper even the gear meshes with the original model A gear. Those pot metal motor chassis just fall apart after 90 years
Nothing lasts forever Murray lol

Those spring rods for the trunk lid under the back deck causes a multitude of squeaks and rattles. You get one fixed and they rattle in a different spot. Fought with that for years.

Both have rubber hose on them and the rattle is still there. But thanks for the suggestion.

Morning guys and Happy Turdsday.
We had some strong winds last night and there were Tornado warnings on the tv but we didn't get any rain after all. I'm sure someone got nailed though around Lake Huron.
Have a great day and keep cool

I used Teflon sliders from a snowmobile and some re-engineering on the lock ends. Much better but!
I have some I believe to be motor mounts for a model A that I got from my father in law and not sure what there for, I'm thinking to but in a V8.
I'll get some pictures and show you and maybe you might know.

I read some where they actually had an experimental 31 with the v 8

Heat shrink tubing can help (sometimes 2 layers) when there's no room for rubber hose. Slip it on and shrink it in place.

I’m guessing you know this but here it goes anyway
Ford used up all the parts from previous year until they were used up that’s why my 69 ford f100 is a 69 1/2 all wiring is 70 they ran out of 69 wiring. Same on the A can’t remember but something with the drive train is a different year. Reason why you need your serial number when you go for ford parts

Mr Ford was tight with money so yes I know.
Unfortunately my 29 truck was parts and pieces and frankensteined together.
