Morning fellas.
Going to be a beautiful day but they are warning of the air quality.
Our area they said is the worst air compared to the rest of the world.
Saying anyone with asthma or any other breathing problems should stay in the house with the windows closed.
The smoke is now over Europe. Can you imagine it drifting that far?

Mark, just wondering what percentage of the car shows you go to have an entry fee for participants?

None Murray. Some ask to bring non perishables but no fees.
Unless it's a fundraiser of course.
Other than that some of the car shows will have a 50/50 and some have door prizes donated buy a business like Crap Tire.
What about your car shows?

More and more of them are asking for a small entry fee, they offer prizes, 50/50 draws etc. but I don’t like having to hang around all day till 3 or 4 on a Saturday or Sunday. I realize that it costs money to put the show out there but that can be handled with donations, sales of hot dogs, t-shirts etc. not forced donations. My opinion
 
Morning guys still haven't been to a car show this year and don't like the idea of an entry fee I never stay long enough for the awards and don't really care.
For me going to a car show is enjoying the people I meet and hang out with friends.

I think entres shouldn't be charged but charged the ones who come to look. Tey'd make more money that way after all we have to pay for the gas to go to these shows and in some cases that a lot of money depending how far you have to go.
For instance, there is a yearly car show where my daughter lives. It's 30 bucks for the weekend but I would only go for one day and still cost me 30 bucks regardless plus the gas would cost at least 60-70 bucks plus food etc.

Kinda funny how that works people come to see our cars and we have to pay so they can see them.

We were as high as a 350 rating yesterday but start today at 140
 
What smoke I look out over fields clear, in my yard, in town, no smell. Was really foggy this morning but no smoke smell, wind direction I guess
 
Son called me from jail just now got a 5 minute phone call from him.
Miss my son lots. No one here to give **** to every night. Taking him some underwear on Saturday and has to be in a factory wrap bag and think I'll send him some T shirts and socks.
Damit being a parent is hard.

103F, no rain for a week, and about to wrap up 1,100 sqft of floating floor. My knees and wrists hurt, and yes, using knee pads.
 
Spent 5 hours sanding a superduty tailgate. It has those raised "superduty" letters. Maybe I'm too anal. The flatrate to paint the damn thing is 4.8 hours.

God I hate new tailgates and now with the 2 fold gates and the easy step with the handle and all the wiring sucks. :BangHead:
