Been another lovely day but only got to 10c which is about 50f.
Had a nice walk this morning. Saw this bees or whasps nest while on my walk.
My wife and I sat out on the deck this afternoon till the clouds came over then it got cool.
Tomorrow is supposed to be a carbon copy.
Have a great evening

Got beehive pic too. It was in a Mountain Ash. It's on the ground now. Birds gobble up the larvae.

I just photoshopped the brightness. Looks alot better. I like whatching the birds. Getting to be alot of magpies here. They're pretty smart.
Had a ton of slugs this year too. Birds help with that too.

I know the ranchers dont like Magpies, they'll eat the eyeballs right out of a new born calf.

Have a shed with two raw plywood doors all gray weather beaten, wasn’t out to that shed for a couple weeks last summer. When I got there the doors looked like brand new plywood. Then I saw the massive wasps nest under the eve. Figured out what happened went and got the RAID.

Magpies here are like squirrels very limited life span but seems like they can spot a gun and fly further away. Good thing they can’t distinguish caliber yet

Might take a poke at one. Need to teach these crows a lesson too. Geese are probably next.

You shoot a big old grand daddy and you wont see them for a while.

Magpies 7mm Mag makes a nice poof of feathers. Squirrels M22 ruger does the job. When the geese are sitting on the field 25 06 or 7 mag works well, geese are not a pest for me but they are food.

Not sure we can shoot upland game with a rifle legally. Saw my uncle shoot a duck right out of the air with a rifle. He was a gunner on a military boat for a spell. It was at the top of a canyon so the duck was down slope a little and flying at a 90 degree angle to the scope. Craziest thing I ever seen.

Never shot anything flying with a rifle but magpie’s have this uncanny sense to know when they’re out of shotgun gun range. That’s why I wait till they roust then kablamo. Have seen magpies eating Robins eggs bastards.

Squirrels will too. I saw a squirrel with a mouse in it's mouth the other day.
