Yes been a bit cold here the last few days, only about 25c (77f)
but we are in for a few 44c days ahead (112f)
Honestly, I just can't imagine having Christmas Holidays in the cold!
Christmas time here is holiday time in the sun with sand and surf at the beach
watching those bikini clad babes in the beach. Gee that is hard to get used to!
Woking on the car does get a bit hard at times just wiping to sweat from my eyes and the A/C electricity bill gets higher. One day I might have to get around to putting solar power on the roof!
Any way have a nice Christmas and new year to you people up in the northern hemisphere!

Awww sucks to be you LMAO. Here in Winterpeg Manisnowba we’re about 50C colder than you. Not quite cold enough to snap the icicle off the end of it when you take a squirt outside, but close. It gets to be +35C here in the summer off and on, I can’t take that your just sweating standing there. Think I’ll pass on +44C. I can always put more clothes on but there’s only so much you can take off.

Well Ahoey the girls do look much better with almost no clothes on !

So you have paid attention to my pics, lol I will say I know where everything is. I call it my organized mess.
Yep most farmers know and if you pick up a tool laying on the shop floor and say I think you misplaced it. Nope would be the answer and they would tell ya to leave it there.
I can't do that and don't know how they do it.

I knew that comment was going to bite me in the ***. I guess it depends on the person. Have one farmer friend , he has a 30’X50 heated shop, he has to clean up to get his snowmobile in. It would be 2 days before he could get his 1/2 ton in. Just don’t understand. A few more of my farmer friends are almost the same not as bad but. I mean ya I understand cultivating, seeding, spraying, harvesting are all time sensitive things. But here they have all winter to regroup. Just what I see.

North Americans get snow angels this time of year:

Morning Gents, a balmy -22F here this morning almost sun tanning weather. Stars were out in full force last night, sky is clear, snow crunching under my boots on the way to the lab. Typical winter Manisnowba morning make it a warm one guys.

Close your back door Murray all the cold is leaking out and running downhill to me.

Had snowfall warning yesterday morning that never happened, but it was pretty chilly at around 0* f with a little bit of a breeze. Froze my fingers fuelling up my truck. We did get an inch or so overnight and it is still in effect. Up to eight inches total and temperatures around 10*f is what's been forecast.
Another Chinook is also on the way by late next week with temperatures in the 40s.

Supposed to be warm (above average) around here in 10 days or so as well. Normally I’d be ok with that, but with no snow it’s kind of a “teaser”, and this in-between **** is beginning to get me down.

Hey, Mother Nature! Either get on with winter, or bring on spring, as I got things to do, dammit! :poke:

I don't miss the extended periods of cold weather that Winnipeg gets, daily 'high' temperatures of -30*f for weeks at a time, no thank you. This Christmas was the first one since we moved here in 2013 that was truly a green/brown one and it was very enjoyable for me.
My job has me working outside every day and I like that, but it isn't much fun when you are freezing the moment you get out of the truck. I have tried working jobs where I am indoors all day, but I find myself very disinterested and bored.
It took me a while to get accustomed to the changes that we see here with the Chinook weather patterns, but I will never miss the frigid cold. It does get extremely cold here at times too, but seldom lasts longer than a week.

That is true usually in the first 5/6 weeks of the year one of them the daytime high won’t come above-30. Don’t really like it but lived here to long to be able to move all my junk so I just put up with it. LOL
