Fred my wife is a vegetarian not vegan still eats dairy just no meat , so I kinda follow her lead , don’t get me wrong I eat chicken ,beef and all the bad stuff to pepperoni and the likes but tones of green leafy stuff and my pressures are great , doctor had me on the treadmill and he shut it off at the highest incline and told me I was good ! Wasn’t even redlined yet feel like a 20 year old with 60years experience.

Did you get rain last night evening FOG. I cancelled going to the car show last night because it came over black and looked threatening.
I went over to Home Depot instead and bought a water heater. Finally getting rid of the rental one. Don't know how many times I've paid that one so now I'll own this one. Lowes has a sale on right now, 15% off anything over 400 bucks so HD honoured that as well. When the girl finished all the paperwork I looked at the bill and noticed that they haven't charged me for the installation so I questioned it and the girl said "Don't worry about maybe they missed it in the quote". So here's hoping and if they did I got a smokin deal. Update to follow. LOL
Off soon to put the new intake on.
Have a good one guys.

Thanks for the offer FOG but it's a gas one one so you'd need your ticket for that. Nice offer though.

The intake is changed, a few hiccups but that went fairly smooth. Had one strange thing though. My buddy took the carb off before removing the old intake and put the carb on the bench. A few minutes later he moved the carb to a different spot and the anchor for the right front fell on the floor. It had cracked right through right at the bottom of the bowl. Once it was all back together and fired it up it ran fine but I will have to get a bottom plate for it. I headed home and thought I could beat the approaching storm. NOT!! Came down like mad and I got soaked when I stopped to roll up the windows. Oh well the car needed to be washed after working on it anyway.

If you are the home owner you don't need a ticket , I had an electric stove and switched it over to gas did all the hookup myself ,you should know what you are doing tho . Same with my son 's gas heater as long as the home owner does the work .

I thought it had to be done by a gas fitter or the ins. company would deny a claim if the gas line was at fault

My wife wants to go out for supper tonight so I plan on taking her to Costco for the free samples. She didn't say where LOL
Have a good evening guys.

Never thought of that Mark. But like FOG I have always done my own. But if you have an inspector come and bless your work would imagine that would satisfy the Ins. co.
Good idea about going to dinner at Costco, if you could pick me up a hotdog and a coke.

I agree FOG I don't trust anyone to hook up my gas line or electric I've seen some pretty shitty work by the guys with a licence.
