Oh don't remind me about that. First day of Fall next Saturday guys. What an awful thought. Where has Summer gone?
Hey Mark seems like summer just started, but will be nice to get rid of bugs.
I have 2 cousins coming to visit soon so gonna get the scamp set to run nitros so they can see how they like it. After that will start taking her apart to restore her, I hope anyway.

My neighbour just bought a 73 Charger. Plum Crazy Purple with a warmed up 383, 727 and 4:10's. I think it might be louder than mine. We'll have to have a competition lol

Instant horsepower but not a fan of nitrous. Love the sound of a blower though and looks nicer too.

Well sounds like you both are gonna wake up the neighbors so I might as well join you.

I really want to run a blower Mark and after I get my 340 out of the scamp I will take it apart and see what needs to be done to install one. Nothing as cool as a blower sticking out of the hood.

Even a Procharger is nice. Hidden under the hood waiting to prey on a Chev or Ford.

I wounder how much boost I could go and still run on 91 octane.
I would think anything under 11:1 but just guessing, I'll have to read up on it.

From what I understand boost does not need high compression.
Not sure how it works completely I know you use low compression pistons but doesn't the boost raise the compression. Looks like I got a lot to learn CF.

Morning guys Fred when you use the nitrous, pull 4deg timing for every 100 hp shot for example 200=8deg will save stuff what pills are you running on the fuel side ? When we tune the bosses car we started backwards bigger pill on the fuel side smaller on the nitrous side now he’s at the point he needs a separate fuel pump for the nitrous it’s makin that much power last year it cost him an engine, I was not at involved in the tune the day it blew up , cost him over12:000 to fix the mess .

Thanks Biff for the help. Hold on I got to find the paper work on it I filed it away cause I wasn't going to use it anymore, but looks like one more time.

Found it Biff 47 on the nitrous and 53 on the fuel, It's a wet kit. I run the timing @ 16* BTDC.
So far I have gone through less than 2 10lb bottles and never use it off the line I always wait till I am in 2nd gear and not to long in 3rd.
According to the chart that gives me approximately 100 hp gain. And I do have a blanket warmer.
So what do you recommend I should do Biff.

Nitrous was on my bucket list now time to try something else.
Any body looking to buy a nitrous kit.lol
