Well guys I'm getting excited about getting a Blue Print engine for my car so I can keep up with you guys. Well kinda keep up as long as SLO keeps the Cuda in the garage.

Just make sure you are ready to install it and run it when you get it to take full advantage of the warranty. I've had two friends get burned on crate engines cause it was past their warranty before they ever drove them.

Automatic 904 with a Gear Vendor over Drive. Tranny was built to handle 450 hp but the engine I want is 445 hp and as long as I keep the slicks off and run street tires I will be fine. I hope.
Good point BP I will wait getting my engine.

Great point on the timing and warranty issue BP. Many years ago on a build I purchased a fancy transmission, by time I got the whole thing up and running it was almost 18 mos from purchase date. While arguing with the vendor I tried to explain I was not a tv show shop. It takes me longer than a month to assemble a rig. Save money buy a part sell something buy another part. Takes folks like us a bit longer. Long story short the tranny was in fact manufactured incorrectly which they readily admitted but since it was long past warranty window I had to foot the bill for the repair. Per BP post Fred be sure you are ready for the motor when ordering it so any issue can be resolved gracefully. I know there are a bunch of differing opinions on this but my personal opinion is go with Johnny. He has integrity and does exactly what he says he will. Trust for me is a big deal.
