Hand him the cleaning cloths, mops and whatever to get the job done. He's old enough Fred and don't worry he'll have a smile on his face a mile wide. Shouldn't be up to you Fred. I'm a firm believer to bring things back as you found them.

Yea I feel like an old mother hen but last one in the nest is the hardest to let go.

I did good at the auction. First thing I got was free and that was a sunburn. lol I bought an L shaped farm Diesel tank with a working 12 volt pump complete with hose and nozzle. I also bought 2 pallet racks to stack engines and stuff on to clear space on the barn floor.

The longest I have gotten out of a battery was 13 years. I average 10 years. You are right it is time for a new one probably.

Pallet racks are great and a fuel tank on a farm is a must. Sounds like you did good CF.

Water is closing in Fred. They have no barricaded most roads around us. We are down to one way in and out.

I have not been out for a couple of hours. Last I knew 29 was still open but they had the water on roadway signs up. Goes nowhere but down from there.

This is the girl grinding out our stump yesterday. She also cut a lot of our tree down. She's a going concern and strong like bull LOL. She did our stump and our neighbours as well

That's a nice stump grinder expensive.
She went down over two feet. They have a big one also that will take a 4"swath in one go. Things weighs 14,000 pounds and runs by a 4 cylinder diesel. He made it himself. Needless to say nothing stops that beast.

Probably didn't take long to grind yours. My son has a stump grinder but real small the size of a lawn mower but still pretty aggressive. I would guess that big one would not even bog down.
He said nothing stops it. It probably took her 2-2.5 hrs to get it all done. Just guessing mind you.
Going to be sunny and 16 today and supposedly a lot of rain tonight into tomorrow morning. Just might go and buy that battery today to be ready. I took the cover off partially yesterday to show a guy the car and is nice and clean so looks like put the battery in check fluids and tire pressure turn the key and go.

well got the motor home back home and in one piece. The kid said he had a great time stayed up till 5 am. Do you guys remember when we could do that and feel fine the next day?
