Got me one of these about a decade ago, slicker than cat shizz. Totally adjustable to whatever angle your saw requires, takes almost no time and I'm still on my first sharpening stone. Just cant use it in the field. I usually take an extra sharpened chain with me and sharpen what I need when the day is done.
Hey, that's pretty cool! I didn't know that HF carried these, and they have one "In Stock" at the store that I drive past twice a day on my commute to/from work.

I may just have to pop-in tomorrow after work and check this out in-person...

Thanks!

I had that exact player. Best tuner on the market at that time
With the 8-track? Mine was the Supertuner-II, with cassette. Best radio I ever had in a vehicle.

Wasn't worth a damn for cutting down trees, though. Not sure what Randy was smokin' Back in The Day, but it must have been some good, uh..."stuff"! :poke:

Morning guys.
Another mild day ahead.
When I said I retired 12 years ago yesterday that was my birthday present to myself.
Turn 76 today. The best birthday present I ever gave myself.
Have a wonderful day

I got the pleasure of doing something like this once. Karting club run our karts in the parade. At the end, there was a line of vehicles for several blocks. Still in our karts, we were able to just blow right on by.

Funny to see him put that seat belt on. When I first started racing karts I asked one of the kart federation officials "Why don't you require seat belts?" "Injuries are less severe if you get thrown clear of the kart in the event of an accident."

I think shifting without having to take your hand off of the steering input would be a great improvement. That's just nuts driving on public roads. It's dangerous enough in a full sized car. Who the hell can even see that thing.

Happy Bday Mark, Jim. Someone was talking about chainsaw sharpening. This gadget came with my husky when I bought it in the late 80’s. Works like a hot damn, easy to use light compact, fits on your belt Saw has cut 6 full cords ( tandem load) into stove length since. 3 bars, can’t count how many chains, 3 or 4 carb kits, one set of rings, one recoil spring. Thing still works good. Can’t get pic up but H42 3/8 file kit Husquavarna chainsaws should get you a look at it.

Most of the guys around here that build those carts use a high hp snowmobile set up. driving/ driven centrifugal clutch’s, Jack shaft, chain case. No shifting, gears up steadily until driver is open and driven is closed. With the right weights, rollers and springs it’s a amazing setup. Had the old SRX 700 yamy over 100mph many times. Comet is a good Brand name in those clutches

Morning guys. A nice mild day today.
Had a nice relaxing day yesterday and a lovely supper and dessert
Have a wonderful day
Well Mark, Fred and myself just fell out of the fridge and into the freezer. Temp is dropping and supposed to stay for a couple days. Stay warm guy’s, box stove in lab will be rockin

-17 F here and falling dropped 4 degrees since 6am. Thinking it’ll bottom out around-24. Which still isn’t bad considering it’s the middle of January. Could be a whole lot colder
That's for sure and no wind and sunny makes it lots better.

Hi guys. Been hovering again around the 0c/32f. I went out and cleared the driveway.
It was maybe an inch but light so it was good to get out and do something.
But like Murrey said we'll be going into the freezer ourselves.
Have a great afternoon and evening
