Late B Body AC

I need to replace the AC on my Cordoba, what compressor from a later car or truck would work best? BTW the compressor on my car is gone and to replace it is too expensive.

Would the the Ac from a V8 Dakota work along with brackets and serpentine system work on my 318?

Lot of variables to deal with here.

What year is the engine in car, and which compressor is on it now?

Sounds like you want to convert to serpentine belt - or is that just because you have a scrap Dakota alongside your garage?

Plenty of good compressor choices out there, just need a little more info.
