This is our latest evolution of our 360 Classic Cruiser. I always strive to improve on our builds, and our Base Line CC are no exception. The very first one I ever did made 350HP. Then we tweaked it a little and got 365, 375, 380, and now after some more tweaking we got this little bundle of joy. Im using the same cam, same style stock heads, crank, rods, damper, balance style(external), carb. The final tweaks here are different pistons(little higher compression, 9.3 from 8.8), intake(Crosswind from Action Plus) and some chamber mods.
Now for the numbers. HP peak 420HP @ 5450RPM TQ peak 426TQ @ 4250rpm. Seems a little high in the rpm band for peak torque, but its not a stroker. And it had 400+TQ from 3000-5500RPM!
Total timing was 32*! BSFC was .355-.450! A/F was 12.7-13.0! V/E 90+%!
It runs super smooth. Pulled 18in vacuum at idle and is real quiet, but with a super Mellow tone.
All this, CARB TO OIL PAN w/Ignition system, dyno run for cam break-in and power tuning for less than $6000!!!!!!!
