I just put the LD 340 back on. Started up OK except the timing need to be adjusted once the dizzy went back in.
I NOW read on the Victory Tech Papers site that "the plenum is divided except for a small notch for idle balance".
How much of a notch and where? All the pics of dual planes I've looked at don't show a notch.
My intake has a notch that some one has cut out...about and inch square... under the secondaries, which never looked right to me.
I was thinking of filling it in to try and improve my idle quality , but don't know if I should. It gas a stock cam. Idles at almost 900 before it smooths out.
