I don't mind putting in a heli-coil or two, and cleaning myself. But, manifold would have to be guaranteed to fit stock heads. No machined sides and no major corrosion in coolant passages. I've seen these pass recently in the 150-200 range (before I decided to use one of course) That's the range I would like to pay.

That maybe so but the. Again it isn't what he wants. There could be a reason to this?????

Thanks rumblefish360, and yes there is a reason. I used to have an air-gap, personally I don't see what the big deal is with them. I replaced it with a stealth which I feel is a much better intake, at least on my combo. I was going to use it, but I'm wanting to build a sleeper street strip 360. No fancy shiney intake, no finned or fabricated valve covers. The kind of engine people can walk by at 15 feet and think is stock all-orange painted 340 (the Stealth has no provision for mounting the coil in the factory position, the LD340 does!)... until I fire it up of course!
