[Found!] Left and Right Transmission to Engine Braces

-
What year is your engine? Somewhere around 75-76 the left side boss on the block was moved forward 1 inch-they started using a slightly longer starter. I think they left the old boss on the block, but it wasn't drilled and tapped. So-the early left brace is shorter than thae later. Passenger side remained the same. Also 904 and 727 used the same braces. I have some tucked away and already painted if I can find them.

I “think” the block is a 79 truck block. I need to verify exactly what year it is

Don, if your motor and transmission is bolted together, get some measurements between bolt holes on each side and I'll measure the braces I have to see if I can match some up for you. I have some that came off a 318/904 combo if my feeble brain remembers correctly...lol. If you can get measurements, PM them to me so I don't miss it.

Pretty sure I have every style. 10.00 ea plus shipping

JD nope, it’s not bolted together; just got the transmission removed from the van and moved into the basement

If your block is a 79, you will need the longer left side.

I “think” it is. That’s what the shop guy thought it was. I just haven’t been able to make time to get to the stirage and check it out
