Let's see some cars with super stock leaf springs and what size rear tire are you running. Also, is anyone using s/s spring lowering blocks?

mine has superstock springs with 1 inch lowering blocks and I'm running 275X60 15 BFGs on 15X8 rallys with offset spring hangers.

for what ive heard from alot of longggg time mopar racersm depending on how fast you go, none of the mwill touch a lowering block. i have ss springs on my 74 sport that ran low 10s me personally dont like the look of ss springs all driver preference. i had a biggest tire of 29x12.5 with ss springs on my duster. but now going with mono leaf caltrac or w.e . my 74 swinger is the best sitting car i have i think. stock leafs with air shocks in the back where the rim lip sits same height as the lip of the wheel well with a 26 inch tire. with the front end a lil lower.

I'm running the high arch ss springs with mini tub, 3" relocation of springs, stock a body rear end.
Wheels are weld draglite 15x10 with 7.5" backspace to accommodate stock length rear., tires are MT sr radials 30x12.0x15 and the forward portion of rear wheel opening is massaged 1.5" forward but done right to look stock.

I am running 1.5" lowering blocks with 2 degree pinion shims which add about another quarter inch drop.
Since the SS springs finally settled, my rear end sits too low now for my liking and I have some big changes planned for my rear end set up.

I would like to go with 1" lowering block to give me a bit more height in the rear.
Narrow a rear end for deeper dish wheels and go with a different wheel all together for a different look 5 spoke wheel, and a 28" rear tire.

This pic is 5 years ago--but with SS springs and no lowering blocks / 28.5 x 11.5 ET streets .

Today , I have 1" blocks and Hoosier 29.5x 10.5 tires , mini tubbed , Calvert shocks. The car still has a little rake to it even with the blocks. Ive never had an issue using lowering blocks.

let us know how those nitto`s work out !
thanks, bob

295-55-15's 6 1/2 " back space and axle narrowed 2" a side.
Also moved back 3/4 " , mini tubbed and springs relocated to under the frame rails.
I don't have the room of the later Darts and needed a 3/8ths " spacer on each side to get enough clearance on the leafs.
You won't get much more in an early A body with out cutting the wheel wells.
