I have been debating on fender covers for awhile as I work on the dart.
Afraid to scratch up the paint when changing things.

What fender covers do you use? Blanket? Magnetic? Work naked?

Not sure if it's the best route, but I keep small harbor freight blankets on the fenders, then I have one of those vinyl ones on top of that.

I have these, doing the same as what Bingo has with a blanket underneath.

I have a bunch of Snakeoyl foam covers I got 20 years ago.

A very soft king size bed sheet. Folded over to fit the area I’m working on. If it gets dirty in anyway, the washer machine trip it gets. The bed sheet is so soft I can buff out the wax on the car and have it look beautiful in a minute.

I just really like the idea of working naked!

I have a traditional, foam cover and I also use an old bath mat, with the rubber back on it... amazing how the shag of the carpet will hold onto small parts so they don't roll off somewhere
