Sorry to hear that. We went through the same thing back in Sept. There isn't a day that I do not think about him.

We haven't gotten another dog....... Yet.
 
Can definitely relate to about 80 percent and I'm sure the other 20 will eventually happen at some point. I just laugh and enjoy their love. The one with dog hair on the pants reminds me of my wife. It takes me 20 minutes to vacuum the dog hair out of my van after 3 or 4 days from taking them with me to get coffee in the morning.

I too can relate my 10 year old Cathoula sheds horribly and is an attention lover, a very smart dog we love her dearly. She has Addisons Disease [for the last 9 years] and requires steroid injections every 7 weeks, expensive yes but she shows her appreciation daily.
