Light location help

73 Duster found this lamp hidden in dash by glove box.
wires not long enough to reach hole in glove box. found no bracket or housing near by.
any idea where it goes?

It may be for the temp/blower switch illumination.

I think that is it the heater panel does not light up THANKS!

Oddly, the map light is down under the glove box on my '72 Dart.

Does it have a housing? I can not tell if mine had a map light or not.

Been to long ago, car is in storage. I am thinking that it may have been a black plastic holder, one screw attach? Maybe someone else knows, my other 2 cars here don't have the option to look at.

Got up under dash, sure enough heater control light was missing. Thanks
