Maybe this has already been posted around here but even if it has, it's worth a repeat. This girl rocks it. Wheelstand starts just after the 2 minute mark.

she is a legend .full stop

Thanks for posting her 3 gear wheelstand. Lisa is an awesome driver and bracket racer, she really loves her Dart. After that wheelstand we have been contacted sooo many times by people across the country wanting to know what we have done to her car to make it wheelstand like it does and go straight as an arrow every time. Bangshift wrote a small article and put it on there webite with the video, that was way cool. Take care and more videos to come. Steve

...got the same shifter :)

Are you not required to wear proper gear while dragging ? She would go up in flames faster than a bulrush soaked in varsol with what she is wearing...yikes..

Harness, snell rated helmet, and fire jacket I think is all that's required.

...she isn't wearing any suit or fire retardant clothes....sends the wrong message..drag racing is dying here but to race on a track, you need a full nomex suit including booties..and a recent snell rated helmet..

We race at Sonoma Raceway and they will not let you down the track if you do not have all the safety gear required for the speed of the car. Her Dart is legal to run 10.00. Lisa has bracket raced this car every year since 1989. It has gone from a 16.sec yawner to what it is today.

She's wearing a Simpson fire jacket

She's wearing a Simpson fire jacket

I watched again, it is a heck of a run but the jacket looks like a nylon shell bomber jacket...but no pants, boots, gloves...face protection other than a helmet and that will do diddly in a fire..sorry to be picky but I have witnessed too many accidents at tracks..things can go cockeyed pretty darn fast..

Some people need to read the NHRA rule book....slower then 9.99....no gloves...no boots are required no open toe shoes allowed

Open face helmet is legal as long it is a SA2005 or newer...the jacket she is wearing is legal....

Long pants required.... nylon pants are not legal...
