Sat. Feb. 19. Wife was raised near the small Hill Country town of Llano, some 70 mi. NW of Austin. It is so bad there, bottled water is being flown in by chopper. Thats bad.

We lucked out...we never lost power or water but some pipes did freeze because it got so cold for sooooo long!! I was out there trying to defrost the pipes when it was 22 degrees, made my feet and fingers hurt!! They just ended the boil water alert. I'm built for the extreme heat, not the extreme cold!!
Well man coming Tue. Going to change over from (busted) jet pump to small submersible. Get some water flowing again and then see how bad the pipes are! Livestock will have to have more water by then. Meanwhile.....
Grocery was out of milk, bottled water, gatorAide, and hotdogs... and lots of other STUFF!
