Day one ended too quickly. Even on the tree first round, won by legging it out and going dead on, was happy after struggling finding the tree in the two time trials. Other guy broke out pretty bad.
Second round ( in the dark) kicked it 21 red. Been struggling after dark with red lights, must see it better with this one good peeper compared to daylight. Plus the car slowed 4 numbers. This humid air down here, (having unusual heat here), is tough to figure out. Cools off, humidy and water grains jump up, DA goes down couple hundred feet.
Weather looking much the same for today and tomorrow, at least I have a little more knowledge to lean on.
Usually down here for this race it’s 70 ish and no humidity. Mid 80’s with high 60’s dew point this year…. But no rain.
