Someone is always worse off than you and me, so I’ve decided to stop whining, push as hard as I can and empathize with those truly worse off than me.

Yup. Some days suck harder than others but you can't quit. I can't quit anyway. If I just sit around I'll lose my mind (what's left of it) and my body will lock up. I'd rather be dead than live like that.

You hit the nail on the head with this comment.
Every time I see a person in a wheelchair, it reminds me that at least I can walk.
Now getting up off the ground and standing when working underneath cars is a major undertaking.
But at least I can do it.
I knew a guy when I was younger that was wheelchair bound from a car accident that did body work and paint by himself.
He had a system of ramps and pullies with cables in his garage that he used to do the work.
It was impressive to say the least!
His paint jobs looked pretty good too.
And I never heard him complain about anything.
If that isn't inspiring, than nothing is...

Desire and Determination are Vital
in Life. Especially as life and age catch up
to you and they will.

I spent a year plus in a Wheelchair after a severe
Boat Racing accident.

I am grateful every day to God that I am now standing on my
two feet!

God has been so very Good to Me!!

I got bad knees, need knee surgery among other issues. I can’t run, but I can walk and do yard work and construction.

A guy I used to work with wore out one knee joint playing baseball. He could turn his lower leg at the joint so his foot was 90 degrees to the joint. After he showed me that, I never said another ***** word about my knees.

I save that for winter time. I'm going to whine during the summer it's inevitable.
I'm 46 and I feel like I'm 45.50
