Location of factory auto floor shift

I’m hoping someone could help me. I have a 1965 barracuda and quite awhile ago I removed the old automatic floor shifter and ground off the old brackets so I could install a promatic hurst shifter and I had work on the tunnel. I just laid down sound deadening and realized I should have figured the install location on the tunnel first. I’m asking if someone has a measurement from the firewall/floor seam on the trans tunnel to the front of the factory floor shifter? Need the measurement from my finger to the shifter as seen in the photos. Thanks everyone.

This pic is from my 1965 Dart GT automatic. I'm not really sure if the dimensions would be the same, but a lot of that era A bodies were the same in many respects. Anybody know? Hope this helps. Rick
