Lokar cable install

Ok I bought the Lokar Throttle Cable, but the instructions SUCK!!!!

so what do i do? How much shorter should the housing that covers the cable be? does the cable go through the fire wall first? and then the cover over? Im sorry This is more confusing to me than anything else



and I might be buying the kick down depending on if i have luck with this.

mine goes back and over the trans , then up to the carb...

works great.....

My bad just seen the throttle cable part of you'r post, don't have that just the kick down!


Are you trying to rout a kick down cable or a throttle cable? The kick down requires a bolt to be removed from the tail housing and a place to mount at the carb, I'll try to find my instructions they were fairly easy to understand.
It does loop around it's not a straight shot.

Ya im trying to decide wether to go to there kick down or manual VB
do i need to cut anything on the kickdown linkage? or how do I adjust it

If i do go with the lokar kickdown and just a Shift Kit, It would save me some money possibly
