No, it's only used from the carb to the kickdown lever on the trans. You can buy a floor shift, very pricey, to do what you want B&M makes one. Although you can wait to see if anyone has it to sell you.

Oh ok. Thanks for the info. Yeah im not interested in floor shift. I have a bench seat and all original interior. Need to find a way to make the collumn work.
