Vast improvement on the 1.855 60' I saw on the time slip. You're already knockin on the door.

I can almost feel the scraped knuckles!

Yeah, I’m really close, that was on 15 psi, the next pass on 20 psi is when the output shaft twisted off.

It was mock up, I really wanted the pan tucked in more, but I was out of time, this picture is three weeks before Roadkill Nights 2019, so I was still working on getting the engine ready to put in and wanted to see how low the pan would set. Eventually I’ll build a custom pan that still has the 8 quart capacity that is above the k member.

But right now I’m working on the front brakes, doing a bearing repacking and swapping out the socket head cap screws for some ARP 3-1/2” wheel studs and new lug nuts before my race in January at Roadkill Zip Tie Drags.

Its always somethin, good luck in January. I just know when I have a pile of wrenches on the ground its cause I got tired of getting back up to find the right one.

Thank you, I’m going hard after that 10 second pass. Too bad AZ is over 1800 miles away.

I’m way too old to get up and down a lot, just take the tools with me. I’ve been working on A-bodies for over 36 years. Mopars over 40.

You sound like me, started in 1972, owned chargers darts new yorkers and 300's mostly 60's vintage. Presently 69 Dart GT (see avatar) and 69 cuda convertible. Aren't they fun? At some point I'd like to hear about your other rides.

Your GT is a convertible? Wow I like that! I worked on my buddies 69 GTS auto and his 69 Swinger 4 speed, both fun cars!

Always wanted a 69 GTS black with red interior and a 4 speed! My friend had one as his first car.
