Nice. Short wheel base. Those are good lookin' trucks. Is it 65? Just guessin' by the twin I-beam.

Sorry I posted before you were done loading the pics! Good to see you back. Looks good, you've been at that a long while now. I'm sure he will appreciate the truck when you're done.

yea, but i have prepped and painted a jag and fixed a wrecked 05 elantra in the meantime. going to post pics and a thread on them now!.lol

well, that is another thread in itself!. i had bought a 70 fc7 340 4 speed number matching dart from someone, and yet i have not even paid for it yet, but he said he does not care. but i made the call last week and told him that i will not be buying the car, but want to instead restore it for him. it means alot to him, and i knew that and i would like for him to relive the dream of when he was 17 rowing through the gears. he is in his 40's now, and is not able to do it himself due to job, so i will be restoring it totally also, and gave him a 5k restoration fee. for labo. it is cheap, but to me, that is alot of bills paid up to date, and i get to help another with their dream!

Good to see you are back posting your restos, plot.
You do awesome work, can't wait to see the Dart being done too.

Great truck, are you going to do the Crown Vic front end swap?

I have loved those model years the best.

Cool and not trying to be a dick but is that you in there spraying without any sort of respirator at all?

no front end swap. all stock.

yes, that would be me spraying without respirator!. i was just cutting in the channel for the glass. i know, still no excuse.

here is as the truck sits at the moment

What's up with that weird straight up and down engine? It's not leaning over like a normal six cylinder.

Looks great!! Keep the pics a coming. And remember to always wear your respirator. Even if it is a quick job enough quick jobs and next thing you know you can't breathe. Your health is worth more then any car and since this is how you support your family take care of yourself.
