Ok guys here it goes found this today there a guy around the corner selling this
he want $1500 for it it turns freely and comes complete with aluminum bell housing fly wheel and every thing you see in the pics. I think he will take less is anyone interested. This is located in S.E PA

Aint got no spare dough unfortunately. Town quarterly taxes are due next month which is even more than the engine.
This truly sucks.

Cant be a 331.

The 331 had an extended bellhousing.

Interesting to see the casting numbers to get a good handle on exactly what it is

The 51-53 Chrysler 331 only had the extended bellhousing. The 54-56 had a standard short bellhousing. I have a 56 model 331 less than 50 feet away from me with the short bellhousing.
 
well i will get casting numbers,It might be the 241 red ram hemi ....as i may have made a mistake but cool none the less.
 
1500 is a reasonable price, if its good. I own a couple myself along with a 354 and a bunch of other early Hemi stuff
 
thats about what they go for, complete like that. Its probably got the "555" heads on it also
