It's a Hummer wannabe Jeep with a 9 3/4 Dana and factory disc brakes and would be a great upgrade for my Dart.


Think he'd miss it? :D

Just slip it into 4wd when you grab it, he'll still have 2wd!! Maybe he won't notice!!!?? :)
 
How is it for width ? he probably doesn't have enough power to grenade your 7 1/4 if they swap even ! LOL
 
Next time he comes over, give your daughter some money to take him to a movie and tell her to drive her car...

You'll have about 2 1/2 hours to get the swap done....

The width is one thing I have not determined yet.
I asked him which motor it has in it but he didn't know. (V6 is all he knows)
 
Sure it's not a Dana 44? they used them in Jeeps. Same shape cover and same number of bolts only smaller.

you might be right looking at the pics again and comparing it looks more rounded like the 44 or even the 70 . Either is still better than a stock 7 1/4 tho eh !
 
All my xj Cherokees used either a Dana 30 or 35 sometimes coupled with a 7 1/4 and I've had 4 of them. That looks like a 44 to me
 
Yea, the spacing of a couple of the upper bolts looks like a 44 and not a 60.
Note the spacing on the two upper left bolt holes between the two.
The 60 has a slightly flatter area on the upper and lower left sides of the cover also.
 
I thought you were gonna say you found a used condom.
