I need a good set of U-bolts and backing plates to finish my 8 3/4 build! Sadly my dad threw mine away on accident! BUT! has offered to buy me a new set! If any of you local California/Stockton folk have a good set for a good price post and let me know or Pm me- tyvm for your time :glasses7:

you can use 10" backing plates from a 7 1/4 (may need to drill one hole) but aside from that they are the same, U-bolts can be found at any auto parts store, or spring shop,

This only applies to the newer LARGE BOLT PATTERN 7 1/4 rear backing plates. The earlier A body SBP 7.25 plates are different. You can also use 8 1/4 backing plates from just about anything including trucks,b/c/e bodies, and of course, any 8 3/4 setup (except sbp A body)

backing plates, like I said in the original post.

Stock A body axles? Those will require the A body 8-3/4 backing plates.
Aftermarket axles with non a body offset can use any non A body brakes from 65 up.
