Ok, I'm looking for a member on here who has a dual snorkel scoop on his car that is "larger" than the standard dual snorkel, looks exactly the same. But bigger.

I remember seeing it in a thread once upon a time (of course now I can't find it) and I'm trying to figure out where he got his big dual snorkel from :coffee2:

any help is greatly appreciated, trying to decide between a standard dual snorkel or getting one of the "big" ones.

It works for me! got the air rammin down the top of the air cleaner. Got a
K&N top on it. Air go's in, pushes right down.

Did you cut out the whole triangular are between the hood bracing or just cut the two 4" holes?

What K&N filter is that... I want one

Mine has the twin snorkel stock (72 demon). The whole triangle was cut out by he time I bought the car. With an air gap (smallblock) and a 1" spacer I only have room for one of those cheesy edelbrock triangle air cleaners. Supposed to be good for 1000cfm?

I was thinking about putting a plate under the air cleaner with a foam turtleneck to seal the hot air out and maybe build a little ram effect. Haven't gotten around to it yet but without it who knows how much good air makes it in from the scoop?

VFN Fiberglass out of Addison, Illinois has a pretty good scoop available for $110.00 plus shipping. It measures 3 1/2'' high X 19'' wide X 37'' long. I have seen one in person and the quality is pretty good. Compared to a factory scoop, it's very similar but it's taller, and it's one piece as well. See pics i have of both VFN and factory.
