I looked into there's cams, seems like they'd be nasty lol but I can't seem to get ahold of them, no phone number and no response via emailTry Utawsome first if looking for new. Magnum engines is pretty much ALL they do & since they were introduced in the early 90s. Marty & his staff will point you in the right direction. They know a lot about Magnums. Try Hughes Engines also.
They usually reply by e-mail & may take a couple days to get back to you. They are a small outfit but Marty himself, his daughter or an employee WILL get back to you. The knowledge they have about these Magnum motors will be worth the few days wait.I looked into there's cams, seems like they'd be nasty lol but I can't seem to get ahold of them, no phone number and no response via email
Yea iv called em, they said basically $250 for a roller cam, but they won't know what they can do with it until they have it in there possession, guess they gotta go off the center circle or something like that? You can also call Oregon Cams. They can grind you one from the catalogue or per your specs from their cores or they can regrind your old cam if it has the appropriate material on your cam to meet the intended lift and duration specs you are looking for.
Man sounds like a good setup, you got vids of her running?I know Oregon Cams can take a stock 5.2 cam to 212/220 .485 / .506 (1.6 rocker ratio) with 110 LSA. I have one, it's their #1280 grind. I'm very happy with the power. I used the Hughes magnum spring kit, Magnum air gap intake, and headers. After machining heads, deck, cam and a thin head gasket I needed 6.925" push rods.
