looking for a mig welder

-
Look at a new welder that has been put out recently. It's a thermal arc fabricator 181i and 252i both are great units. Both are 220V machines. And are much more capable than any other MIG out there as they are a 3 in 1 machine and will allow MIG TIG and Stick. It will also accept a spool gun for running aluminum. The draw back is that it is not designed to TIG aluminum, I hear its possible though.

Not my vid but it's nice to show off the machine. I know most do not talk about thermal arc, because they are better known as Victor, and thermal dynamics. Good machines and great support here is the website. http://www.thermadyne.com/thermalarc/

Now on that note I do not work for them nor any other welding company. I am just a car guy like the rest of you.

Thanks for all the input and advise from everyone. I have an older campbell hausfeld 110 unit and I have had some very discouraging experiences the last couple of times that I used it. I've been wanting to do the leaf spring relocation and mini tubs on my 2 darts but haven't had courage to try it with my present welder. My friend loaned me his Lincoln Pro Mig 180 to try today. After laying down a few nice practice runs I started on one of the Darts. What an amazing difference the equipment makes. I think I will be looking for one of those and use the other welder for a boat anchor. I got the 2 rear leaf spring mounts done today. starting on the front boxes tomorrow.

Well remember, a lot of people don't know the distinction. A MIG uses a gas cylinder with a 75/25 mix. Welding without gas is NOT MIG welding. that is flux core wire welding. Big difference.
