All,

I'm pretty serious on buying another Dart w/ a 416 Stroker street/strip engine 9.0 comp ratio, Solid Flat Tappet, W2 heads, Torker II, 1 7/8 header. I have been looking at the camshaft in this engine and have come up empty. Made 415 to the wheels on 91 octane. 113 mph in the qtr, stock weight, it is a Dart Swinger "Special" low option car.

It's a Comp 258/262 @ .050, 108, 550ish lift solid flat tappet. I guess that it is not a catalog stick? I looked several times here and there and could not locate it. Any thoughts? Comments? Critical Analysis. General BS.

Yes! It has a Stick!

Thanks FABO.

The Dart Swinger Special is 29xx lbs so add in 200+ for driver etc 3100/3200 lbs Add more for the 340 block. Not sure what a /6 weighs, which is the facrory engine. So maybe another 200 lbs. 3400 total. Had a 430 rear gear I was told. Probably a 275? I was told it made 412 to the wheels.

I will add bullshit from my 418 (340 stroker) and w5 heads
I run a lunati solid roller 40200733
Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 249/255; Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .585/.600

4.30 gear and 4 speed with 28"
Never been on a track though

There is a 252°/262° catalog stick with a 106°LSA, but no match as You give it. Very easily could be custom, happens all the time, most catalog cams are compromises.

Sounds like a good cam if it ticks all your boxes. Going bigger with 9:1 CR & a single plane intake would make it less street friendly.

That cam is not in my Comp catalog. All the oval track cams in my Comp catalog have 106 LSA, but it is an old catalog.

I am thinking Holley W2 Strip Dominator, I don't remember ever seeing or hearing about a Torker II intake for W2 heads.

There was never a Torker II for the W2.
While I can not see the intake so well, it looks like the Holley Strip Dominator for the W2.

No other info available? Specs like this could be at least 3 different profiles. Tight lash solid #6304/ 6305. MH solid #6284 / 6285. Or likely XTQ solid #16263/ 16264, which is a common Mopar mechanical lobe.

That is what I was thinking. A back of the book profile list lobe pick.
