Like all of you, I take pride in doing most of the work on my car myself. From time to time though I do come up with something that I just don't have either the tools or knowledge to do correctly. Also, someday I'll be ready to have my 470 stroker motor built and I would really like to start a good working relationship with someone in the Seattle area that can deliver me a top-notch motor when the time comes.
I know there are some good engine builders and speed shops in this area but it seems as though they mostly specialize in Chevies and Fords (shocking, right?). Does anyone know of an engine builder or speed shop in the Seattle/Tacoma area that is as passionate about Mopars as I am? I'd like to give them some business over time to get to know them while I put together the funds needed to build my engine. Somebody that can weld in subframe connectors, install some TTI headers and exhaust, set up some new gears in my suregrip, etc, etc... and later down the road build a bad *** 470 would be ideal. I'm not just looking for a shop with knowledge about engines and machining, but one that genuinely loves Mopars as well.
