Looking for my Dads old 1970 swinger 340 EV2

Hey guys, I was just wondering if my Dads old Swinger is still around.. I'd be interested in buying it back or even seeing if its still on the road. He bought it in 1989 from a guy in Rutland BC (Dean) and restored it and and sold it in 1996. It was the car that got me into mopars when I was a kid and I had a lot of great memories in it.

It was an original EV2 340 auto with beige interior, manual brakes, manual steering, bench seat and go wing. (My dad put a black interior in it back then but it's probably back to beige if its been redone since) I also remember it having a pentastar etched into the back side windows. I do have the vin # for it and ill post it up once I go out to my parents and get it. He sold it to a guy who lived in kamloops so it's probably still in BC I'm guessing.

Thanks guys for the help! I have a potential lead on the car now, hopefully I can get some pics and the history of the car since my dad sold it. I hope I can buy it back for my Dad!

Barrycuda your car does look close to my dads and mine... I'm currently in the process of restoring my 1970 EV2 4 speed swinger, but it will probably be atleast 3yrs before I have it done, unless I win the lottery, haha. Is yours an original hemi orange car?

Still looking... Last place known was Abbotsford area in 2001. Somebody out there has to know where this car is sitting! There aren't to many real EV2 340 Swingers out there.

I grew up in Abbotsford!!!! I still work there! Do you know perhaps the old address in Abby? and what condition it was in at that time? I would have been in grade ten then, but I don't recognize it? I would love to help.

Just came to mind there is a guy right at the Sumas border who buys and sells old muscle cars and seems to ship them around. It looks like he usually brings them up from the states, but who knows, might get lucky!

Wow that's quite the price. At least you know it won't go far at that. Is it the one? Did you call and ask for the VIN?

Hey, thanks! I will let you know if I have any new leads on it. I have a feeling it's either in a garage pulled apart or crashed and parked. I can PM you some more info if you think you can dig any further.

Thanks for the link! I emailed him and the vin isn't a match. The car sold too.

I got some new info. It has not been registered since 1996 which will make the search A lot harder!! I know the same owner had it in 2001 tho. My dad sold it the 5/95 in the restored condition shown above and that guy sold it in 1996 to the guy I'm trying to find (keeping his name private)

I posted an add on Kijiji abbotsford to help with the search.

Try craigslist in abbotsford and vancouver. Around here we seem to use it more often than kijiji
