we removed the bench seat from our 63 Valiant so we can recover it, clean up the floor pan and put the new carpet in.

Somewhere along the way someone screwed two blocks of wood to the floor where the back part of the seat track attaches to the floor. Where can I get the correct spacers for when I reinstall it?

I'm guessing they were there to raise up the seat for a small person . there are holes in the floor pan for the seat , use them.

I think a previous owner put those in to raise the back of the seat up. I've never seen spacers under seats unless installed by someone else.
