looking to get sicks but no experience with them

what are some of the best slicks out there and the best wheels to go with them? I want to get a pair for when i go to the track. Currently im running 29x12.5x15 m/t sportsman and have very little clearance with the fender wells so i'll have to go with a little smaller.

I'm running a 8 3/4 with sure grip 3.91 gears, ss springs, and no pinion snubber.

you're looking for straight out slicks or a DOT cheater style slick? just making sure

straight out slicks for the drag and a set of wheels to go with them.

Sure. I've run M/T, Hoosier, Goodyear and M&H. the M&Hs were by far the stickiest. Especially in that softest rubber compound. They made my car set my eyeballs back in my head when it launched. LOL
