I was raised in s w ga, I will glad give nstruction to anyone wanting to move south. ( basically just slow down your speech, add youall to everything, and be sure to start a conversation to the guy next to ya at the gas station! LOL no really...
some people move south from the NE and love and others shake their heads and move away! same thing with folks moving to south Missouri.
wonderful place, but no place is perfect I 've found. good people everywhere but southerns do tend to have a different set of traits, which is not bad, but takes some understanding.
few phrases to understand: we mash the elevator button, no push it. we ask you to carry us to town, not take us to town.!?? etc LOL
economy!???? yes there is money, and those that got it are slow to turn loose these days. maybe they're saving up for shortage of , beef, pork, vegetables, and GRITS!!!!!!!

lol! well said! there is a lot of work around here,and money. I guess nobody wants to cut loose like was said. it will go sooner or later. like for it to be sooner though. I have three properties to maintain right now for summer! sucks!!
 
April 16th, just had snow last night. The south is sounding like a good idea right now.

I as raised in s w Ga. moved west to Missouri in '79. when iwas a kid, all the guys from the new England states hauled *** to Fl. sloed down in Ga long enough for gas!! LOL then over the last, what , 20 years , so many people and companies from back there have moving into va, ky tn, Carolinas, ga.

when you guys move down, just remember: slow down, say y'all a lot, and learn to eat grits and pulled pork! LOL
