More like the 70’s, that was “back in the day”.
This baby was parked on my street a few weeks ago during “strawberry festival”. 3rd muscle car to ever park near my house. (Not counting mine).

nice car i used to have a 70 dart. i have a 69 now wiring has been hacked u p trying to straighten it all out. so far everything is working except the alternator. its a good one so it has to be in the wiring. i really need a good wiring diagram.
My kind of driveway. Looks good to me.

Finally found a street view of my car sitting at the previous owners place on Google... Found the tow truck receipt after 3 years so was able to check the address... This is how the car sat from 1994 to 2021, or so I was told. The guy was bonkers, kept the 340 and matching trans, the sure grip third member replaced with an open member, he kept the shark tooth grille and replaced with a valiant grille. Just going down recent memory lane. Now rockin' a 440 and A833

'80s could be "back in the day" for him, as it was for me. I was just getting my license in '85. All my friends and I were into '60s muscle cars and '70s street machines. Driveways (our parent's) still looked like this then. Muscle cars were still everywhere in the '80s. It wasn't until the early '90s, after we had graduated HS, went to college or moved out, that we all threw in the towel and moved on to modern muscle, like Grand Nationals (me) and my buddy's had Fox Body 'stangs, Turbo Coupes, IROC, Formulas, Conquest TSI and Mitsubishi VR4, etc. It seemed like a flick of the switch around '87 or so, that all the classic muscle disappeared. We'd cruise Hampton Beach and every other car was a Fox/Capri/T-Coupe or IROC/Formula/TA or GN/GNX/T-Type. We'd go to New England Dragway, and see the same. All the classics had all gone into restoration shops to become boring OEM 401ks.

My driveway last year.
Inside my garage today.
42,000 original miles, bought it in Winnipeg from the original owner. It had been sitting in a heated garage from 1993 to 2011, had 27,000 when I got it. Never had any rust, was heavily Ziebart coated when new. I have the original bill of sale too, sold at Birchwood Motors.

Non matching # car was a 340 car and someone put all the good E-body parts on plain car. 340 six pack 4 spd with console rallye gauges rim blow wheel front and rear sway bars 15x7 rallye wheels quick ratio T/A power steering.paid $7000 for it in 87 like it sits
Had a gathering at my place with bunch of my buddies who all happened to own Mopars. This is my 72 340 4spd Demon and my cloned 440+6 4spd 71 Barracuda. Other car in the pic was a buddy's 70 Charger (318)
