Looks like I need a different convertor

Talked with TCI gave him my cam specs and it needs 2200-2500 stall for that cam, losing 6-700 rpm in gear with the stock convertor. Who has the best convertors fora good price? The trans is a A-500 OD same as a 904 I think. Do they make a lockup with a higher stall?

If it's performance AND street manners you are after I would call a reputable manufacturer and have them build one specifically for your needs.

PTC, Ultimate, Dynamic I think are a few. My guess is around 6-7 hundred. Just keep in mind, you get what you pay for!!!

I wouldnt buy an off the shelf jobbie. Call Dynamic or someone to get one built. Way better
