Got a call from my realtor that there is an offer on my 36,000 sq ft old Chrysler-Plymouth dealership building that is absolutely full to the brim with Mopar parts and cars, mostly A-Body. It will be a painful winter watching all that I have acquired over the years heading out the doors, but it needs to be done.

Now starts the task of figuring out what I want to keep. I have an auction company waiting to go through everything, but I am not sure that is the best way to do it since they usually get things sold pennies on the dollar. It is surely the quick way to do things, but the negotiation has not yet started on how long I have before the new owner wants possession...

Sad to hear, but keep us posted.
Like you said, pennies on the dollar, plus their seller's fee...

Maybe you should list the stuff here for sale?

Thank you for the swap meet events you hosted at that place. To me it was like a museum walking around in there. My wife accompanied me there, my son-in-law, and I even met Jadaharabi there a couple of times :D . Great times and an outstanding Host !!! Wish you well with all what needs to be done.

Wow wish I could of made it by to see your collection. Sounds like a great place!!

I'd be happy to come down and take a look again if you are at the building anytime soon. Are you still planning on heading to Tennessee?

Post some pics here if you don’t mind that would be great. Good luck on it. You should reach out to Tony’s parts maybe he could give you an offer. A guy here had 12 storage buildings full of parts and he sold the entire lot to a local guy and made big bucks on it all. Or you can donate it to a charity like “Loganscuda’s cars for Himself charity benefit”. I can have a nonprofit set up in minutes. Let me know.

Well, ya can't take it with you but I'll bet the flippers are salivating. Probably very time consuming listing A body parts here.

I would be more than willing to make a drive out there and take some parts off of your hands! For money, of course, I don't want free stuff for my car. I can also take parts home to Indy and help sell them for you, if you want!

I bought some pulleys from the swap meet there, really cool place.

Good luck to ya. I feel your pain. My wife told me that she doesn’t want to deal with all the parts and cars and tools when I pass away. One of her friends went thru this a few years ago with wood working tools and equipment. Kim

I may have another swap meet soon depending on when the closing date happens. The problem is the heat no longer works, but at least everyone would be out of the wind...LOL

Have a "make an offer" swap meet

Not sure what you are trying to say Mike, this is not a for sale ad just posting that I may have sold my building for the people who have been there before, not sure what "NOPE" means...
I thought sedanman was suggesting you do a make offer swap meet here which is against the site rules. If he meant a make offer swap meet at your shop I apologize for the assumption.
