Never had the honor of meeting him

Sad to hear. I met him several years ago at MATS in Las Vegas and he couldn't have been nicer.
A true ambassador of both Mopar and drag racing.
He'll definitely be missed.

Unfortunately, time marches on. Its sad to see the 60's icons disappearing every year.
