Low mount AC bracket

Does anybody know of a setup for an AC compressor that wont have a big honking compressor front and center in the engine bay?

Or any companies to look at for aftermarket AC that can be combined with the original parts in the dash of my 74 dart sport?

That's funny, because for small block all I've seen for factory or sanden type compressors mounts it right over the top of the front of the engine, WTH? I'm going to end up making my own. Alan Grove makes a generic one for DIY use, I may start with that. Possibly move the alternator to the drivers side even, and mount the AC off to the side on the passenger side. That's for me anyway, no silly PS to get in the way of things!
